Psychonomic Society Early Career Award 2017

The Psychonomic Society Awards Committee invites nominations for the 2017 Early Career Award, recognizing the significant scientific contributions of Members and Fellows early in their research career. Nomination details are below and online.
 
As many as four annual awards are given, each with a $2,500 prize and airfare to the 58th Annual Meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, November 9-12, where recipients will be recognized during the opening session. One awardee, whose research is most relevant to the areas of perception and attention, will receive the Steven Yantis Early Career Award. Recipients will be notified by May 15.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Awardees must have completed their highest degree (typically the PhD) no more than 10 years before the year in which the award is given.
  • The nominee must be a Member or Fellow of the Psychonomic Society.

Nomination Procedures
Complete nomination details are available online.
  • Nominators must be a current Psychonomic Society Member, Fellow, or Emeritus Member.
  • Nominations must include the nominee’s current CV, two letters of nomination no more than two pages each (one from the nominator and one from another Society Member or Fellow), and up to four of the nominee’s most significant publications.
  • Self-nominations are not permitted.
