A new master's degree in applied experimental psychology (AEPS) will start in October 2017 at the University of Milano-Bicocca. It is an innovative MSc aimed at forming experts in applying psychological knowledge in a range of contexts. The degree program focuses on how basic and advanced knowledge in psychological sciences can be fruitfully applied to address relevant needs and tackle diverse issues in a range of contexts and domains. Such domains can benefit from coverage of different areas of psychology such as cognitive psychology and neurosciences, personality and social psychology, clinical assessment and interventions and developmental psychology, as well as of relevant interdisciplinary knowledge. The overall goal of the program is to teach cutting-edge perspectives on the cognitive, social, emotional, and neural processes underlying human thought, behavior, language, knowledge, and decision-making. Such a strong theoretically and empirically grounded knowledge will represent the core basis of the program from which the students can then build on and choose to expand their knowledge on one (or more) areas of application. English will be the official language of the program.
