Professorship in General and Cognitive Psychology, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria
The Department of Psychology of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria invites applications for a full Professorship in General and Cognitive Psychology beginning by March, 2013 and limited till January 31, 2017. Applications from researchers in judgment and decision making and related areas are especially encouraged.
Qualifications for appointment include the venia legendi in psychology or an equally strong evidence of commitment to research and academic productivity, and excellent teaching skills.
The successful candidate will represent cognitive psychology in research and teaching. The position will take over teaching responsibilities at the bachelor’s and master’s level (courses may be held in English), and supervise master theses. Applicants are expected to contribute to the administrative tasks at the department.
