Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Project Coordinator at the University of York, UK


The Department of Psychology at the University of York (UK) is seeking a full-time postdoctoral research associate (for 3 years) and a full-time research project coordinator (for 25 months) to work with Dr Silke Goebel on an ESRC funded project entitled ‘Cross-format number integration and its relationship to mathematics performance’.

The project will involve extensive longitudinal testing in schools and EEG testing, as well as liaising with parents and teachers in order to build contacts in the community.

Candidates for the Postdoctoral Research Associate should have a PhD (or nearly completed PhD) in experimental psychology, experience working with children and/or EEG testing.  Experience publishing in high profile, peer-reviewed journals is desirable. The starting salary is £31,076. 

Candidates for the Research Project Coordinator will have an undergraduate degree in psychology or a related discipline and experience working with children. Experience with testing in schools and/or EEG testing is desirable. The starting salary is £24,565.
