Post-doc on sleep, language and memory, Department of Psychology, University of Exeter, UK

The College wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to participate in a project looking at whether sleep flushes out leftovers of recent perceptual and cognitive activities, led by Dr Nicolas Dumay. This ESRC funded project tests the clean-up hypothesis in the context of language procedural knowledge, using performance-based and eye-tracking measures on young and healthy aging individuals. The team also includes Prof. Arthur Samuel (Stony Brook University, NY and BCBL, Spain), as international co-investigator, Dr Efthymia Kapnoula (BCBL, Spain), as technical consultant, and a Graduate Research Assistant to be appointed at 20% of full-time. The post is available for 36 months (full-time) as of September 1st 2018 and will be based at the Washington Singer Labs (Streatham Campus).
