Position in Cognitive Neuroscience (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor), Brain and Mind Institute, The University of Western Ontario


Department of Psychology at Western University invites applications from exceptional researchers to fill a full-time academic position in the area of Cognitive Neuroscience. Depending upon qualifications and experience, the position will be either probationary (tenure track) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, or tenured at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Successful applicants must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate collegiality in a comprehensive psychology department.

Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at the time of application and be internationally recognized for excellence in research. Candidates must have demonstrated an outstanding research record of publishing in the highest quality journals, evidence of research funding success, and supervision of undergraduate and/or graduate students. Successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain a vigorous externally-funded research program, teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate research trainees, and demonstrate a track record of creative, innovative and scientifically rigorous approaches to research.
