PhD Student, German Sport University Cologne, Germany

The German Sport University Cologne - Department of Performance Psychology of the Institute of Psychology announces for the 1st of December 2019 (or earliest possible time) a position as a PhD Student.

The position will be part-time (65%) with a regular weekly working time of about 25 hrs, limited to 36 months, with the possibility of scientific qualification according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG). The duration of the contract is seen as suited for scientific qualification.

Employment is within the interdisciplinary research project “A motor-priming approach to embodied cognition: Forceful tests with numerical tasks” (Prof. Markus Raab and Prof. Martin Fischer, Institute of Psychology, University of Potsdam) and is sponsored by the German Research Foundation. The group of Prof. Fischer will also hire a PhD student and we will work as a team. Thus mutual meetings and lab visits will take place in Cologne and Potsdam. The Department of Performance Psychology of the Institute of Psychology allocates its several laboratories and technical support and offers an intensive training for postgraduates.
