Full professor Experimental Psychology: Perception and Cognition (1.0 fte) at Utrecht University, the Netherlands
The chair focuses on multidisciplinary research and teaching on perception and cognition. The desired perspective emphasizes visual perception in interaction with the overarching functions of attention, memory, and executive control. The theoretical focus is on developing, testing and extending models of the visual system as it interacts with other aspects of cognition as listed above, both at the functional and at the brain level. The empirical focus is on experimental work, combining a variety of techniques (e.g. psychophysics, eye movement analysis, FMRI, EEG).
