Synapsium is a student symposium in Cognitive Neuroscience, organised by Master's students at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour. We offer a platform for young aspiring researchers (3rd year Bachelors, Masters and 1st year PhD) to present their projects, network and to learn from each other! It is open to students from all disciplines or anyone with an interest in Cognitive Neuroscience. Keynote speaker: Dr. Tamar Makin (University College London) will be presenting her research on brain plasticity following amputation. Student keynote speaker: Danielle Tump (Radboud University) will tell us more about the research she conducted on the effect of gravitational changes on the brain. Furthermore, there will be five more student speakers, poster presentations, two workshops (tba, reservation-based), an experience lab (open for everyone) and at the end of the day a panel discussion with three experts in the field on a current topic in cognitive neuroscience.
