Summer School in Cognitive Linguistics

The Summer School in Cognitive Linguistics is a one-week international programme, to take place at Bangor University between July 22-26, 2013. The Summer School will consist of 16 courses on topics in cognitive linguistics, taught by leading researchers in the field, as well as three keynote speeches (Gilles Fauconnier, Adele Goldberg, and Vyvyan Evans). There will also be a poster session during which participants can present their work and obtain feedback.

This event provides a unique opportunity for students and researchers to get a snapshot of the exciting work done in cognitive linguistics and to discuss their research. It is also a wonderful opportunity to visit North Wales and to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes and historical sites in the United Kingdom.
